The 30″ “acupuncture” surface polypropylene filter cartridge is built for applications with heavy sediment load or large vessels needing extended service intervals. The outer “acupuncture” pattern (small raised knobs) increases turbulence and improves sediment capture into the depth of the media. Ideal for industrial or agricultural water sources where silt, sand and particulate matter are major concerns.
