Compressed activated carbon (stage 3) then fine-tunes filtration by removing residual chemicals, while the 1812-75G RO membrane (stage 4) — with a 0.0001μm pore size — eliminates 99% of heavy metals (lead, mercury), bacteria, viruses, and dissolved solids. To address the "flat taste" common in RO water, the fifth stage uses high-grade coconut shell activated carbon to enhance flavor, and stages 6-7 add dual mineralization filters that reintroduce calcium, magnesium, and other essential minerals.
