Product description：

Compact 10″ CTO carbon block cartridge designed for use in RVs, boats or small mobile water systems. It removes chlorine, odor, taste, and some organics, offering safer and better-tasting water on the go. Its standard size and easy installation make it ideal for portable water filtration systems. Based on standard compressed carbon block CTO cartridge specifications.

Carbon Block Filter：

Carbon Block also known as CTO Filters, is made from activated carbon. Activated carbon is carbon that has been treated with oxygen to make it porous, allowing for a larger surface are for chemical reactions to occur. The water passes through the filter allowing the organic materials and chlorine to effectivly bond with the carbon molecules, thus removing them from the water.

Carbon Block (CTO) filters effectiveness depends on the flow rate and contact time with the water. If the flow rate is very high their efficiency could drop to as low as 0% but if the flow rate is slow their efficiency can even exceed those of various different carbon forms. It also has a 5 micron filter ability.

Carbon Block is used to absorb natural organic compounds and synthetic organic chemicals which affect the colour, taste and odour in drinking water.
