Product description：

Engineered for food production and beverage water treatment plants, this 20″ CTO block cartridge removes chlorine, odors, chemicals, and organic contaminants while maintaining water quality required for food safety. Its 10 micron filtration and carbon adsorption make it suitable for input water treatment or as post-treatment before bottling.

Carbon Block Filter：

Carbon Block also known as CTO Filters, is made from activated carbon. Activated carbon is carbon that has been treated with oxygen to make it porous, allowing for a larger surface are for chemical reactions to occur. The water passes through the filter allowing the organic materials and chlorine to effectivly bond with the carbon molecules, thus removing them from the water.

Carbon Block (CTO) filters effectiveness depends on the flow rate and contact time with the water. If the flow rate is very high their efficiency could drop to as low as 0% but if the flow rate is slow their efficiency can even exceed those of various different carbon forms. It also has a 5 micron filter ability.

Carbon Block is used to absorb natural organic compounds and synthetic organic chemicals which affect the colour, taste and odour in drinking water.
