D152 Macroporous Acrylic Acid Weak Acid Cation Exchange Resin is a high-capacity ion exchange material with carboxylic acid functional groups attached to a macroporous polyacrylic matrix. This resin exhibits exceptional affinity for divalent cations, particularly effective in removing hardness ions and heavy metals under appropriate pH conditions.
Water Dealkalization: Selectively removes bicarbonate alkalinity by exchanging hardness ions associated with HCO₃⁻ for hydrogen ions.
Heavy Metal Removal: Effectively recovers transition metals (Cu²⁺, Ni²⁺, Zn²⁺) from industrial wastewater and electroplating effluents.
Sugar and Beverage Processing: De-ashing and purification of sugar syrups, fruit juices, and other food products.
