DESCRIPTION |
Nuclear Grade Ion Exchange Resin for Reactor Cooling and Decelerator Water is a specialized class of ion exchange materials manufactured to exceptionally high purity and performance standards for nuclear power applications. These resins are designed to maintain primary coolant chemistry, remove radioactive contaminants, and control pH in reactor systems, ensuring safe and efficient nuclear plant operation.
Reactor Coolant Purification: Continuously removes dissolved and particulate radioactive ions from the primary coolant circuit in both PWR and BWR systems.
Decelerator Water Treatment: Maintains ultra-pure water quality in moderator systems for optimal neutron moderation efficiency.
Chemical and Volume Control Systems (CVCS): Key component in PWR systems for boron concentration adjustment and radioactive species removal.
Spent Fuel Pool Water Treatment: Maintains water purity in fuel storage pools to control radiation levels and prevent corrosion.
Radioactive Waste Processing: Used in waste treatment systems to concentrate radioactive isotopes for safe disposal.
